New Worcester 2000 25 kw in Bracknell

Mr and Mrs H contacted us to enquire about a new heating system, they currently had an old warm air system that had never worked properly since they moved into their house.

MHD Plumbing and Heating went to do a survey at the property, we discussed the different options available to Mr and Mrs H, they decided on a Worcester 2000 25 kw combination boiler with vertical designer radiators. This boiler comes with its own Comfort II thermostat.

The boiler was to be fitted in the loft space, directly above the old airing cupboard. The old warm air unit and hot water cylinder was taken out, and new pipework was put in around the house for the radiators.

All the pipe work was extended up through the airing cupboard to the loft space for connection onto the new boiler, we also fitted a Greenstar system filter to protect the new heating system from contamination, fitting a Greenstar filter also extends the guarantee. A new gas pipe was also put in.

All the pipework in the loft space was insulated to protect in the winter months.

The system was powerflushed and an inhibitor was put into the system to condition and protect the water.

Mr and Mrs H were delighted with their new heating system, they now have instant hot water, and the radiators get hot within minutes.
